My phone has been messed up since this latest update. It won't stay charged, gets hot and requires cool down, apps running slow, messages not sending. Is there a way to restore back to the older version?
Im not sure which phone you have or the update it received, but no phone can revert to a previous OS version. Have you tried a back up and factory reset?
I have the S5 and have not tried to reset my phone because I need all the info that is stored in my phone. I didn't not have any of these issues at all before this update.
I'm having the same problems since updating yesterday. Google Play Store won't respond, Facebook won't respond, and all apps are running slow. All worked fine before the update. I have an LG G2. It shows that the software was updated to 39A.
Since the update my Lg G3 is not functioning right either. App Store, Mail, Facebook and some other apps not updating, but I can't unisntall or reinstall. I hate to reset.... any other options???
I would suggest you do a full factory reset. What you have is a software (apps) conflict problem with lollipop. One or more of the apps that you installed is not the right version for lollipop and that causes the problems. You are going to have to get rid of them through trial and error method or a factory reset. For further reference to get the best results from a major update with the lease problems you should factory reset the phone before you download and install the update, then immediately after factory reset the phone again.
