Can I sell my phone after I port my number to another provider before I pay the EFT? Will it shut off that person that I sell it to before I pay it?
Once you port your number your line/account/number are dead. That does not disable the phone though. On-contract ETFs pay for Verizon's loss regarding the phone. Edge customers must pay off the phone. Either way, you can sell the phone and it the device itself will not be cut off, your line will be cut off if you port out.
