Xperia z3v and Softcard/Google wallet

Has anyone been able to successfully make a payment with either Softcard or Google wallet on their Sony xperia z3v? I never had problems previously with either Google Nexus or droid maxx. But Sony phone just doesn't work. It transfers files and photos via nfc without a problem but not able to pay with it at the store.

Softcard has a lot of sweet deals and promos, and we want to make sure you are able to use them, vsulla! That is really odd that the app does not appear to work correctly for you. When you select the AMEX card associated with Soft card, or any other debit/CC account, do you receive an error message when tapping the pay display at stores?
