Cannot log into Yahoo account

My Xperia phone keeps trying to log into my Yahoo account . I had to change the password and restore the factory settings because my Antivirus app found a virus on one of my apps.

Please help. How can I get my phone to log into my Yahoo account again .

Did you try removing the account from your phone and then adding it back under whatever e-mail app you're using? Just don't forget to use the new password you mentioned you changed.
