For last 2 weeks my Motorola android ultra keeps telling me I have power issues and its draining fast. I have to optimize 4 to 5 times daily. Don't want to do a factory reset. What can I do to fix this?
What are you doing to optimize? What factory apps do you have disabled?
When was the last time you did do a factory reset?
You should rarely if ever need to do an FDR. A cache wipe will usually do the trick on most things, but you first need to look at the apps running and installed to see if one of them is causing the issue.
Go into Settings and Battery to see a list of what is using your battery to start with so we can see if it is isolated or something else.
On this phone I have seen issues with Smart Actions, Verizon Backup Assistant, Verizon Cloud, Facebook, Google +, as well as some others that try to sync and get stuck in a loop because it cannot sync. Backup Assistant was by far the largest offender of this. When it runs in a loop it is constantly using the battery and you get rundown very fast.
Also, FDRs are awesome for major OS updates. I do probably 3 a year. Never have issues.
