I had a Samsung 3 never had a problem on my way to another state on Saturday my phone kept cutting off while talking and I started getting duplicate text messages so I went into BJ's in New York and they had a Verizon store the guy told me my phone was no good without looking at it I asked him if it could make it through the weekend he said he wouldn't trust it I ended up getting a new phone and still have the same problem duplicate text messagesI had a samsung 3 never had it on my way to another state on saturday my phone kept cutting long while talking and I started getting duplicate texts messages my went into b_j's in new york in the head of verizon store the guy told me my phone was no good without looking at it him if he could make it to the weekend he said he was interested in didn't get anything new and still have problem duplicate text messages

Again, a system update might cure the problem. Someone mentioned they got a phone with lollipop v5.1 so perhaps you can download the system update if you don't have it already. Or try Application Manager and clear the data and cache for Message+, or download a 3rd party messenger app.

If you go to the store, test out the Message+ app before you leave the store.

Is every single text message you receive being duplicated, or is it just some of them? Always from different people?

only the ones I send as you can see when I sent this one it repeated itselfonly the ones I send as you can see when I sent this 1 it repeated itself

Are you using the stock Verizon Message+ app to send your messages? Or a 3rd party app?

I did some reading and it looks like that was a problem on the s5. If you have another messaging app already (some mentioned Samsung messaging?) I would try that, or download another messenger.

Before that though, I would go into the google play store and make sure there isn't an update for Message+ and also check for a system update.

Have you installed any other apps recently?
