Data keeps going up!

Ive barely used my data this month and yet I keeps going up! why?

all my data has done is roam and not let me use it!

I want the data I didn't use back!

So you have been able to use it. Maybe since you have been roaming the carrier you are roaming on has restrictions of some sort. Nonetheless, you might try removing the SIM, power down, re insert SIM and power back on for a fresh connection. If no joy, you would need to call Verizon or visit a corporate store.

We definitely want you to know how all of your data is being used. All android devices track data usage independently of our network under Settings>Data Usage. Just below the graph you can see all applications that have been in use in the order of most to least data and you can click on them individually if you want to restrict them to wi-fi usage only (check restrict background data box). You can set the graph back by 30 days (moving back the vertical lines) in order to view usage but by default it will show a week's worth of usage. It's best to set your bill cycle date located just above the graph in order to see your usage for one bill cycle.

Do you typically roam when using data or did this just start happening? Sometimes a different service providers network can cause you to use more data. What zip code are you currently located in? We'll be happy to get to the bottom of this for you.

this just started happening when my data reset.

I recommend Onavo Count and My Data Manager for tracking which apps use what data. It also reads your phones data in and out and you should stay well within data limits using either one. They might seem higher than Verizon's count, but that's because they count MMS data where Verizon doesn't, since unlimited text plans don't count MMS against data use. Plus, they are instant and have no delay in reporting.
