I don't want to sound stupid or anything, but if I take out my SIM Card, it wont effect anything will it???
Removing the SIM card means you'll no longer have access to Verizon Wireless' network. Removing it and then reinserting it sometimes clears up signal issues, if you're having any (be sure not to touch the gold contacts on the card).
