My Samsung Note 4 - the on off button does not work. I've held the button for over 20 seconds and the screen goes blank.
I have seen some owners of many phones suggest that you take your finger and slide it back and forth across the button to loosen a perhaps stuck power button. How long is your screen timeout set for? Will it power on?
