Why is Verizon not allowing advanced calling or video calling on note 4? It is available on S5 and Edge?
Has the Note 4 gotten the system update to allow for Advanced Calling 1.0? It won't be available if the phone doesn't have the update.
No, unfortunately hasn't gotten the update and only Verizon controls who and when you get the update.
Then it hasn't passed the certifications and testing phases. It should come to the phone one of these days.
Thanks for the information; however, the Note 4 was suppose to be the best in the line. So why does the one before (S5) and after (Note Edge) have the update? Unfortunately, and what is frustrating, you can't get an answer from Verizon. I have had the "New" phone since October 2014 and now we are in February 2015 still no updates or answers. Do you know the answer besides "one of these days?"
