I just bought my new Motorola moto g and I want to restore my contact list from the backup assistant on verizon's website.
Side note: You can also use your Google Account to restore your contacts.

Supposedly Verizon Cloud replaced Back Up Assistant and when Verizon Cloud is activated it automatically does this restore of what you previously had on Back up Assistant. Myself I wouldn't depend on a website for anything, maybe old fashion but have at least $1200 in iTunes music backed up to CD disk, rather than count on Apple to restore.
I have found the Cloud and some others to be very unstable and that's one reason I use Google.
Google and Lollipop too? Also Google gmail is about the worse out there 11 different folders, that would take anyone forever to figure out, or better said not to waste the time. How bad can it get with pure incompetence?
Google has it's problems, and Lollipop's not a problem but a nightmare. Google can be a real pain in some areas but it backup program is solid and stable.
