does verizon still have 10 numbers outside the network that are considered friends and family?

I have not been a Verizon customer for 2 years (thank God). Verizon had a deal where you could select 10 phone numbers outside the network and they would not go against your minutes. Is this still in effect? I am trying to help my computer illiterate father. thanks in advance

That was part of the Nationwide plan - which is no longer offered. More Everything and most of the plans offered now are unlimited minutes and texting, so having the Friends and Family numbers is redundant. What plan are you looking at for him?

Like @SuzyQ said that feature is no longer necessary. What are you trying to do for your father? Save him money on his bill? I recently did this for my dad and managed to get him from $99.98 down to $65 a month. He was on an old plan with 700 minutes and pay per text and he is now on the More Everything Plan with less data but a better match for his use. He also gets $10 discount for one phone being a basic device and $15 discount for being out of contract and he still can get another 15% discount off a portion of his plan for being a veteran.
