only a few messages will go thru, I think just the multi-media messages will not download. I have plenty of data, etc... What to do....

What zipcode are you having the problem in? Are you using the embedded text messaging app, the Verizon Messages app or a third party app? Do you get an error message? I am notified I have messages but they will not downliag. I went to service center and they did asot shutdown but all that did was lose the messages. It cleared the notifications but now I have 2 more but they won't download
