DROID MAXX ISSUES

Droid maxx dropped calls , calls dropping in and out during conversations, Signal fluctuating, apps constantly updating sometimes 2 or 3 times daily. THIS HAPPENS ON ALL 4 DROIDS I have already had one droid replaced and the new one does the same as the old one that was replaced. I have went through the boilerplate responses to reboot, factory restore and so forth. I have even added the network extender to my home,( joke, must be within 15 feet to connect and if you return home your call has to drop to connect to home extender, just FYI for anyone thinking along this line. 15 feet does not reach across my living room much less the house. Also the extender does not address this issue happening EVERYWHERE we go. Cannot use the blue tooth devices we have and I have multiple high end devices that have the same issues on all phones not just one of them. It is about time to end my 15 year relationship with Verizon, in this time the last 6 months has been the worst service I have received from Verizon.

You have definitely been dealing with quite a few different concerns here! When you are at home and connected to the network extender, do calls stay connected? Are your dropped calls only happening in this specific area? Have you had better service after traveling to a different town further away? What kind of bluetooth devices are you having issues with?

Christopher, The calls cutting in and out during conversations tend to happen everywhere, Does not matter what city we are in or what signal levels we have at the time. That is what makes it seem like the phones or the software. Just installed the network extender today and the first call I received after it was connected to the phone cut in and out. I will give the extender more time before I rule it out completely. The major issues with it is I have to go to the office at home to even connect to it. which is a concern. The problems did not start until we switched all our phones over to the Droid Maxx phones, that points to an issue with the Droid Maxx phones and not with the service. As I stated we have been with Verizon 15 years or better and never have had this type of problem.Ken

I've had a Droid Maxx for nearly 2 years and have not had one problem with it. Or Verizon Cloud or Verizon Messages + or Verizon service, that gets posted here. It is a incredible phone that Verizon asked me to buy in a email back then. So the problem is not the Droid Maxx.

Well, That statement by you puts it back to being a degradation in Verizon service then. Strange that so many others have posted comments about the same issues. if you search you will find thousands of comments on this subject concerning Verizon and the Motorola phones.

Network extender did not make a difference. I cannot carry it around in my pocket when I am out of the house. I have 3 droid maxx and all seem to have issues. put them in the same location and 1 will have 4G with 3 bars, 1 will have no 4G and only 1 bar, the other one will show 3G only . I am tired of these issues. We have had this problem ever since switching to the Droid Maxx phones. We have been with Verizon for 15 years or better and I can say the last 6 months is the worst service we have had. I am tired of jumping through hoops to try to correct issues that are not getting corrected. Either replace all 3 phones 16G memory and accessories that were purchased ( Otterboxes for 2 phones) or Cancel all my contracts and I will seek service elsewhere. Tired of not being able to finish a conversation on my phone every time!
