Facebook app won't work over wifi.

I have a Verizon LG G3 using Lollipop. In the past week, my Facebook app won't work on wifi, forcing me to use it on 4G. Everything else on my phone works on wifi.

It's more than likely a bad fb update, but still, I don't know how to fix it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and that didn't fix the problem. The only way to get the app to work over wifi is to manually clear the data and cache for it each time and relog in. Obviously this is a great nuisance.

Can anyone help?

Using a webpage shortcut to a bookmark for FB is fairly easy and uses much less data.

I've been experiencing the same problem since I updated my LG G3 to lollipop as well. I cleared the cache partition, uninstalled and reinstalled the apps (Facebook, ESPN, Hangouts, etc.), and did a complete factory reset on my phone. They were only temp fixes. Finally, I visited a Verizon store and after about about hour of waiting, they were able to tell me they have no current fixes. There's an update from Verizon scheduled to push out on May 16th that is supposed to fix the problem with the lollipop OS.

I can't say I'm a fan of the lollipop upgrade to the LG. Sleep mode is gone, replaced by "priority mode", which isn't the same, and now this.
