A) is simple. I have a new sim. I need to unlock my Samsung S5 Black so I can use other SIMs. You have to give me the option. It's the law, by the way. I don't even know why you have that stupid message up to begin with. "This SIM card is not Verizon...." Yeah I know. I put it in. I'm traveling abroad for an extended period and bought this phone at a Costco kiosk as an emergency (my old phone got dunked in the ocean. instantly fried.)
So tell me how to unlock my phone so I can use it on other carriers.
I can't contact your support. Your live chat is never on. Your phone system does not accept Skype. Hangs up on me before I can even have the option of selecting an option. it worked the first time, but I made a mistake entering my phone number and now it doesn't accept skype at all.
- There is no link to cancel (just one for suspension).
- There is no email to contact you at.
- Chat is never on, it is always grayed out with the times of your service. BTW, it's 10:30am EST. and it is greyed out saying it's available from 7 or 730am - 1am. I'm inside the time. So what's the deal? I'm even on a VPN for LA IPs and it isn't letting me chat.
- Phones don't accept Skype.
So, what can I do? Currently, I have just been cursing Verizon in three languages and have a bulging vein on my temple and neck while shaking my fists at the sky.
Please contact me SOMEHOW. Do you have WhatsApp? Skype? email? my phone number doesn't work because I'm in malaysia and am currently on DiGi. I have even added my own APN info to work around your attempt at locking out the SIM of other carriers (with limited success).
If you have my email, please do that. if you don't, I can give it to you. Because it is not something I wanted to do on a forum. Currently, I'm very unhappy with your customer service if I am outside of the USA.
