Help -- LG GPad 8.3 giving me an error message after upgrade to lollipop failed

Now the tablet is giving me error message "Start up Failed" and will not fully reboot. The rest of the messages says "Your device didnt start up successfully. Use the Verizon Software Repair Assistant on the computer to repair your device. Connect your device to a computer to get the Verizon Software Repair Assistant." Below that in little letter is says Authentication Fail #4. However upon plugging the device into the computer it will never fully connect and I can not get the repair assistant to run at all. I even tried to hard reboot and factory reset and still will not let me do anything. Please HELP as my tablet is useless at the moment?

The tablet probably needs to be re-flashed now as it is probably corrupted. I know with phones you just get a replacement under warranty, but tablets might be an actual send off for warranty repair instead of replacement. If the update corrupted during install, no number of resets will repair the issue.

Hard reset did not work as all it did was cycle back to the start up failed screen

Have tablet repaired under warranty if still in effect.
