Samsung Note 4 factory unlocked from ATT

My friend is selling his ATT Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which he originally had factory unlocked from ATT when he first purchased it (there is no ATT logo on the back as well). Would my Verizon sim card work in this phone or is it not compatible since it was originally with a different provider?

While some of the radio technology may work with Verizon, it is not guaranteed. You will not have full functionality of all radio bands and some other features. You will basically have a handicapped phone and might find that rather unpleasing.

unlocked GSM phones used on other GSM networks isn't quite as big of a deal but in the case of any Verizon service I strongly suggest a Verizon phone to get the service and quality you will no doubt expect. You won't get that same service out of a GSM (ATT/T-Mobile) phone on a CDMA (Verizon) network.

It will have complications. In fact, Verizon might not even allow it to be activated. I'd say you could try, just to see for yourself. You can try your card in it and call or Live Chat with Vzw to get it activated. But, I think you'll have issues.
