Since Lollipop update on my Samsung galaxy s5 I have had major issues with Bluetooth connections dropping then re connecting. I can't even use it at all. Very annoying. How do I fix this???
yes, I have removed the connection and re-added. It is happening with my car's Bluetooth. I am unable to connect to my phone / audio player. I have removed the connection from my phone to my car and vice versa, cleared cache and data. It worked for a day or so, then went right back to going off / on constantly. This happened, I believe, as a result of the Lollipop update. I never had any issue before the update.
My car is 2014 Toyota Rav 4 with Bluetooth. I had my phone paired with my car for hands free phone and audio player... worked beautifully until I upgraded to Lollipop. The problem is consistent. No matter how many times I clear the connection, unpair, repair, etc the connection keeps dropping and reconnecting. I do not have a Bluetooth headset. I've seen online that this Bluetooth issue has happened with many others once they upgraded to the Lollipop. I have not tried "safe mode" -- was advised against doing that by Verizon customer service rep at local store b/c I have company email set up on my phone and he said that would adversely affect that. The rep also bluetoothed his phone to my car and it worked just fine, then he tried mine --- connect, drop, connect drop, etc. He said to submit as an issue here to see if a "fix" will be made to correct issue.
