Samsung and Verizon suck

The cover for my charger broke off the phone call samsung they will keep the phone for 2 weeks ya right. Call Verizon I mentioned a refurbished phone they said no problem it will cost you 410.99, then they transferred me to the insurance company to get a new phone it will be 99.00 I'm so fuckin sick of these companies and Samsung knows these charger doors are defective. So I'm stuck with a phone that I won't be able to trade in. When my contracts up screw Verizon and never buy a Samsung product again

How is a cover for any charger worth more than the cost of a new charger? What are they, $20 bucks for an OEM or less? Why would you need a refurb or repaired phone for a charger?

Interesting a lot of people were able to get the doors for free from Samsung.

Samsung offered to repair it under warranty.
Verizon offered you something less than full retail on a replacement.

I fail to see how either makes them the bad guys.

Just an observation I got 2 when I called it for free. They sent them to me. There's other people out there reporting the same thing. I think you had a bad Samsung rep.

Sounds like Samsung will SEND you a replacement door - free - so you will not be without your phone at all. Now this may also depend on how you approach Samsung.

The $100 sounds like the deductible if you file a claim for replacement of the whole device through Asurion.

You choose - free door from Samsung, refurbished insurance replacement with $100 deductible, or do nothing and complain about it.

No they won't send a replacement door what pissed me off is they know this is a problem, I'm not taking one of Verizon Es so called certified refurbished phones my last phone I did they over nite me 2 in 4 days because they both took a shit
