I have been in this subject now for several years and I keep getting the same old story. I am in a major metro area, on the interstate and have NO 4g tower closer than 7 and 12 miles. Those towers are so busy that signals keep hitting and being knocked off. I am a very high volume WEP connected user in the public safety arena.
I have had various change outs with my phone because they simply dont hold up to my constant use. I have talked to tech support time and time again and finally had one just recently who actually told me the truth....which I already knew..,just a common sense approach.
The reason I am venting and blowing off steam now, after all these years is this. You would think the "largest and biggest customer base cell phone carrier" could invest in complete customer satisfaction, rather it be equipment, service or coverage. No, instead, they would rather be more of a conglomerate and buy AOL video out. I have always practiced and participated in the philosophy of this.....do ONE thing better than anyone else and do it right. After you have acquired this, then branch out.
I have questioned the motives and progressive acquisitions for some time now. I am NOT a business man, rather a consumer whose life depends on the existence of a good cell signal. Its also really bad when you can get 4g consistently out away from everything in the woods and in a valley.
If I knew where to send a letter of protest, I surely would. First, I would change my service, unfortunately, this IS the best service...I switched from ATT to come here years ago.
Respectfully submitted,
