I recently upgraded my four phones via verizons online Web page. During the process an online chat rep verified the new total that was in the chekout page of the order. After receiving my phones I received a text message from verizon with a new bill that was over twice the amount quoted. After hours of being in the phone and being transferred to different departments (because they would say they can't help me) I finally talked to the most rude supervisor that said the only way I could get out of the new bill was to return my phones and pay the restocking fee. I have the chat records and screenshots of what verizon quoted my new monthly bill would be but no one wants to look at my records and conveniently they say they don't know how to pull up the chat history. Long story short, I would have never made this transaction if the price was anything different than what I was quoted and confirmed by the online chat rep! Verizon has the worst customer service ever! I have been a customer over 12 years but I will be leaving as soon as I can. How can they not honor a price they quoted and I verified through the purchase process on their webpage?
