Message "Unable to fetch text"

This morning when I woke up I noticed that almost every single app that I have will crash as soon as I open it. More concerning is that when I go in to Message+ and open a text, they all display as "Unable to fetch text". For all intensive purposes my phone is useless right now. I know how to factory reset, but there is text data that I do not want to lose.

Thank you for contacting us. This is a very concerning issue. What is the make and model of the device? Were you having any other issues prior to this? Have you checked for system updates and checked to make sure all of your apps are up to date in the play store?

No problems before at all. Both the text errors and the constant crashing of apps started this morning... this includes the Play Store. I made sure everything was up to date, as well as cleared my cache, and still didn't fix it. The most concerning to me is the text issue because I can't find ANY other issue similar to it online.

Sorry to read about your text issues. In researching this matter, the next best step is to put your device in Safe Mode. I see you have an Android. Please tell which model you have and I can provide you with exact steps to take. This would eliminate any culprit apps.
