Galaxy S5 restarts constantly

I don't know when it all started, but my S5 began randomly restarting a ton when I installed Facebook and the Messenger app. Naturally, when I could finally get my hands on them, I immediately uninstalled them and set the phone to Airplane mode... but now my phone refuses to work at all. It'll restart constantly and completely every time I try to connect to WiFi, and it gets so bad that it begins telling me to use the Software Repair Assistant sometimes. I have to take out the battery, put it back in, and pray in those cases.

Right now, I'm seeing if I can install the Repair Assistant to back up all my information and try a factory reset... but this will be a long process, and I'm afraid of losing things.

What will happen if, say, this repair assistant FAILS to work, even if all my info is backed up? What would I do then? Is my best bet to try taking it to Best Buy's Samsung Center?

We certainly want you to enjoy your phone to the fullest. I am sorry to hear it is giving your some issues but we can definitley assist. To confirm, has your phone updated to the newest software? If so, how long ago was the phone updated? The software repair assistance is great if your phone has recently updated as this fixes bugs and any other issues that may need to be fixed:

I would suggest backing up your phone via the Verizon Cloud app first and then attept the software repair if the phone has been recently updated. If the phone needs a new update, then this would be the best thing to do. Please keep us posted.
