Why do I get an error message when I try to send an SMS?

When I try to send a picture via MMS, I get the following error message:

Account Suspended

Sorry, Integrated messaging service is unable to send this message because this mobile number does not support multimedia messaging. Please contact the Account Owner for this mobile number to enable multimedia messaging." I sent an email to Verizon, and the lady was very prompt, but she couldn't see anything wrong with my account.
