I am traveling in Spain attempting to use WiFi for internet access. I went to settings and switched to WiFi and it says "connected" but i can not access the internet. It also does not bring me to the hotel's verification page, which is what should automatically happen. I have the problem both at the airport and at my hotel. My phone is an Android Motorola Razr. I DID turn data off before I left the US. Thanks for any help!
