Am I missing something or does anyone else notice that since 24B on G3 when you pull down the notification bar it no longer shows the wifi you are connected to?
It never showed on my G3 before and after 24b. What it did and still does show, is when and what i'm connected to.
Oops! I forgot to say it happens when i first connect to the internet.
It shows the symbol that I am connected to wifi but it no longer tells me specifically which wifi I am connected to.
Have you looked in the WiFi settings to see if the notification option was turned off?
My bad. After reading my response(s) i realized i didn't say it correctly.
When i first connect to my home router i see the router name (ssid?) and i also see when it's connected.
And that's it. I don't see, and have never seen the router name (ssid?) remain on at the top of the screen of my G3.
I tried for myself what you suggested. I thought maybe i'm wrong. Guess what? Not this time.
