Samsung Galaxy S5 Continuously Restarting

Issue has been ongoing for about a week now where my Galaxy S5 will just reboot on it's on and the phone is getting hotter and hotter. I've done at 10 hard factory resets and cleared the cache partition. All to no avail. I ordered a new battery that's coming this week. Is anyone else having this issue? I need answers because I use this phone for work as well and it has rebooted while on the phone. Please help.

When it first started, do you remember any changes to the device, such as a software update or app download? At what points does the device get hot? While charging? Using certain apps or processes? We are here for you, and will get to the bottom of this with you.

This issue began about 2 weeks ago out of the blue. The last s/w update I did was back in August I believe around the 14th. The apps I have are the ones I had since before the update. I've noticed that when I am playing YouTube or Facebook or any app like I have noticed my phone getting hot. Now I am getting pop up stating that certain apps have stopped in the background. I have backed up all my info to my home PC and performed at least 15 master resets. I have gone through settings to master reset as well as the pressing home key, power button and volume up button option to wipe cache partition and perform factory reset.

I could understand if there was something new I added to my phone but I have only had this phone since March. I am believing it is the battery so I ordered a new battery. Although when looking at the battery I don't see any noticiable damage to it. No swelling or anything. I am at a loss here. I may have to upgrade to another phone because the resets are happening more frequent now.

I understand it is frustrating to not have a phone working properly. Let's get this working. We appreciate all the steps you have taken so far to resolve this issue. During the resets you have performed, have you uncheck the options for Back up my data and Automatic Restore. With new software updates, apps that you may have had before may not be compatible now. We would like to reset your device one more time and not install any apps or any personal information. If the problem persists, we may need to look at replacement options. Keep us posted.
