THIS IS CRAP!

SO after 2 months of being jerked around by Verizon and no satisfaction for the issue to my device caused by the upgrade that came to my VZW device over VZWs network that I had no option to take, what am I supposed to do. the only option offered is to buy a new phone... so it stinks of scam to me! I will just use my phone a s a message line and do what I have to on another device or land line untill a better deal comes along from another carrier. BYE VZW! In the mean time I will be using every second I have to bitch to anyone that will listen! Anywhere I can so thank you for letting me in here to start every day!

It's Okay, the notes on my account are not vague. And how much more do you need from the update trashed my S4... are you new? have you been under a rock? you know what's up? I know, playing stupid to the situation is how you were trained... like it's some new thing and it's so important... even tho actually helping is the last goal... just selling phones and getting contracts signed. How much clearer can I get, VZW had the opportunity to treat me like the valued customer they claim I am and blew it.... I'm sure sprint or straight talk or some shit will appreciate my business and respect my disability.

Perhaps you'd like to elaborate as to the specific issues you are having rather than just saying your phone is trashed. None of us here work for Verizon unless you see Verizon Wireless Customer Support and their name followed by _VZW. So, none of us have access to your account to read the notes.

It's always good to include what you've tried because contrary to your thoughts, some of these folks know more than the Verizon Tech department which means there may be a way to resolve the issue without you having to spend a boat load on a new phone that will most likely already have 5.0 on it.

Dropped calls, getting voice mail notifications and it never rang, text message issues sending and receiving. Doesn't matter, nothing I hate more than being used as a guinea pig and being told it's going to cost me. Didn't have an issue, I was actually a fairly happy customer for the first time in years... now i have junk.

Go to a VZW store and get a new SIM card. It is free. If that doesn't work, try a factory rest and download apps directly from the Play Store and not from a backup.

Just be sure that you are nice to the employees. Nothing makes them more mad than someone screaming at them and giving them attitude for something beyond their control.

P.S.---You are not the only affected by the update. Every Google user across carriers was. You should check all the forums and direct your anger where it is due.

It does sound like you might be experiencing SIM card issues. I'd agree at getting a new SIM card first, seeing how the service improves and go from there.
