After update this AM my contact list is gone and device keeps showing "Updating contact list"

Updating software on the phone should be an easy task with enhancements that will help improve the experience with your device. I am concerned to hear that was not the case with your phone and your contacts but we will work to get this resolved for you.Was your device backed up using Verizon Cloud before the software update? Was anything else deleted like your pictures or videos?
