I'm so frustrated. lost pics and music. Music not concerned as I can get that again but over 500 pics
Since you are posting in Android, I am assuming you have an Android phone and not Apple. Your Google account includes Google Drive, which is your Google cloud storage. if you have this feature on auto sync, it should have backed up the files that you chose to have backed up. if you did the factory reset, without checking Backup, it didn't save a current copy of files. if you had Google Drive turned on, open Drive to see if your files were backed up there.
