I've uninstalled all recent apps installed. This has not corrected the problem.
I've installed a virus scanner, no virus' found.

Anything else I can try before doing that? I'll loose all my apps and data if I do a reset.

May I ask what the last action taken before the device reboot? If there 's any physical or liquid damage on the device? Have you already completed the factory date reset? If not then we encourage you to do so and retest the device without adding your info and 3rd party apps back to the device. If you can keep us posted then that would be great.
