I have a very simple issue. After numerous calls, chats, etc. noone has a clue how to fix my problem. This is my last ditch effort before doing the cancel/fight with verizon on cancel fees, etc. So here goes.
Droid MAXX
I have been having trouble with a few things on it. No big deal. Decided to Factory Reset Phone. Again, everything good at this point.
Now...
I go into my Cloud on the my verizon website to look at my CONTACTS as I wanted to sync them back up.
Only to discover......
I have one contact that is repeated over and over to the tune of 10,000 times (no I am not kidding)
So....
My Cloud Contacts has 10,258 contacts, most of them are the same person 10,000 times....
So....
I try to use the check box to delete all of these to get my contacts ready for syncing
But....
The system will not let me delete this many contacts as it is not set up for the "unusual" situation
So....
I call everybody under God's green earth at Verizon to
Make this request: Which Is....
Can someone at Verizon please go into my cloud and clear out 10,000 contacts of the same person so my contacts list will be correct when I sync.
That's it. Noone has an answer or knows how to do this.
Summary:
I tried to clean this out of the cloud on myverizon website.
I cannot.
Noone at Verizon knows how to manually go in and get rid of them.
I welcome anyone at Verizon who can help me. Just tell me how to contact them to give them my account/phone # to fix.
