Droid Called Wrong Person from Call Log

Last night I tried to call a person with my Droid (2.1) from my call log, when I pressed the green call button next to the name in the call log, it called somebody else! It must be a software bug, because I am not the only one to experience this issue...

the other day it called my mom instead of my friend lauren
not a common occurrence for me though

What I have noticed on my Eris is that, when dialing from the call log, the last call you made doesn't always update until a few seconds after the screen comes up. So, you click on the screen where the name of the person you want to call is, but by the time it registers the click, the screen has updated and shifted that person down a position or two. This causes you to click on the wrong name and dial the wrong person. If this is what is happening to you, the only suggestion is to give it a few seconds when bringing up the phone to update the list before clicking.

I have noticed that as well, but that is not the issue I was describing in my previous post. When it happened that time, I had not recently called someone and was trying to call someone that was 2 or 3 from the top, not the very first one. The one it called by accident was two below the one I clicked. But again this has only happened to me once or twice and I believe the first time it was due to the update/refresh issue you described.
