I no longer receive cellphone service in my home where I used to receive adequate service -- zip 89134?

I have been a Verizon customer for over 2 years and over the last two months, we have stopped getting service at our home address in zip code 89134. While the service used to be a little spotty -- it is now non-existent. I have an older Samsung and my husband has a new Iphone 6s. Any ideas?

We want you to have reliable service everywhere. 89134 does not have any current issues. How far do you have to go from this location to receive a better signal? Do you know if anyone else is having the issue in this zipcode?

I don't know if others have the problem, but if I go far enough away from my house, I can get a signal. Two months ago I didn't have to leave the house to get a signal. The only difference in and around my house has been the installation of an outdoor TV antenna. I cannot find anything saying that this causes cellphone interference. I looked into a signal booster, but from what I read it is possible that a neighbor's signal booster might be causing my problems. How can I find out if that is the case?

I tried replying to the post, but received no response, so I’ll try here—replying to the email. As earlier stated, I have been used to receiving at least adequate, if not good reception in the house. here was always at least one place I could stand and count on completing a call. No longer. Now we have to go outside and even then we frequently get dropped calls. We had switched to Verizon because of the bad AT&T coverage in this area.

This is a house we expect to retire to and we’re currently not here all of the time. The last visit, in October, there were no issues with dropped calls. This visit, beginning Wednesday December 16th, it is rare to call out and not have the call dropped – several times a day. As far as I am aware, there is nothing different within or immediately outside of the house. I am using the same phone – my husband has a new Iphone6 from Verizon. In July of this year I did have an outdoor TV antenna installed, but that made no difference in July or in October, I am not sure it should be making a difference – causing interference—now.

I have been reading about cellphone signal boosters and after reading about the required registration of such boosters I can’t help but wonder if there has been one installed and activated near me and if that isn’t contributing to my problems. Since registration is required – is that something that you can check on? I began the registration process with Verizon trying to see what is required and if it lists any issues, but the Verizon process isn’t able to

confirm my address. This is problem 2. The registration process seems to think I can only register a signal booster in Texas where my home state is. How do I get around that problem assuming that I have to go to a signal booster for the house?

I would love some help on both issues.

We certainly want you to be able to enjoy using your phone while inside your home. Signal boosters just help promote and push more signal around you like a mini antenna fro yourself. Check this out --> http://vz.to/1NXvdfE Even if a neighbor or fellow verizon customers around you use it, it shouldn't interfere in providing you signal.

I've noticed a gradual dropoff in signal strength around my neighborhood (02474). It hasn't been a problem for me...yet...but I'm attributing it to Verizon Wireless's network modifications to be able to accommodate phones and tablets from other carriers.
