I upgraded my Galaxy Note 3 to the Galaxy Note Edge and I seem to be having more bluetooth issues now. When I enter my car, my phone connects and then my music in my car stops playing as though I'm on a call. (it's like a ghost call!) I have to hit the 'talk' button on my steering wheel to disconnect and I get the 'thank you, good bye' message as though I was on a call or attempting to make one. I NEVER had this issue with my previous phone. When I get an actual call, I'll be talking for a few minutes and then my car says 'unable to connect,' the bluetooth on my phone disconnects and I cannot hear the person on my phone. Sometimes, if I hit the speaker button on my phone, I may or may not be able to hear the person on the other end. I end up having to hang up the call and call the person back or they call me back. It's very frustrating!! Does anyone know how to fix this? A new phone in a new car (2014 Cruze) with bluetooth capability should work. At least I'd like to think so, it did before. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't upgraded.
