For the past 2 days, I am unable to send any text messages. Result is always "failed" This happens whether I have a strong or weak connection signal. The texts are being sent to different contacts--none are successful.
Are you able to make and receive phone calls?
Yes. Also, I have sent text messages before with no problem. This issue started yesterday.
By the way, my phone is the Motorola Moto (2nd generation)
You could try to delete the cache and restart and then see if that works. If not I would delete cache and data and then restart.
I don't know where where it's located on your phone, but look under settings for application or application manager and then you want to find the app you are using for texting and delete the cache from it.
I tried to delete cache, apparently nothing happened, so I deleted data. I am not sure if this really happened because my three remaining text messages were still there to be viewed after doing this.
I have my settings window for Verizon messages open now. There is an option there to uninstall updates. Should I do that?
