turn of 4g lte on LG Transpyre

I get -90dbm for 1X and -120dbm for 4G LTE signal at my house.

My phone though keeps trying to connect to 4G LTE and I get a lot of dropped calls.

Please advice how to make the phone use ONLY 1X signal (or turn off 4G LTE). I switched back to verizon in April and since then my phone is pretty much useless at home. I used to really like Verizon's coverage, but now I will switch to another provider if you cannot show me how to turn off 4G LTE.

Newer phones on Verizon to include LGs do not allow for any mode other than Global, CDMA/LTE and LTE/GSM/UMTS (which is not used on Verizon in the US) There is no way to turn off LTE. The phone will lock onto LTE if it is available at any strength, if none available, 3G or less will be used. 1X is the voice stream. Here is a screen shot of my phone. I have no dropped calls. You can turn off data, but that has nothing to do with voice. However, you can make sure Advanced Calling is turned off, that will help a LOT!
