Galaxy S6 and 2.4 ghz wifi

Hello

I am having an issues with my new GS6. My phone will connect to a 2.4 ghz wifi network and will work for about 30 minutes, then it will lose connection, and be unable to see any 2.4 ghz wifi networks until I restart my phone.

This occurs with multiple networks, so I am pretty sure the problem is with the phone. Has anyone ever experienced this?

I can realte to how imperative it is to be able to connect to WiFi.

Let's look into this. What patterns have you noticed? When did this begin? Do you recall what changes were made to your device prior to the WiFi concern? (New apps? New Software, Any settings changes?)

Hello,

This started day one with the phone. I thought it was an issue with my home

wireless, but all my other wireless items worked fine. Cycling wifi and

airplane mode didn't seem to fix the issue.

I installed a wireless signal monitor on my phone and noticed that my 2.4

ghz wifi signal would just disappear. I would still be able to connect to

my 5 ghz signal. Once I restart my phone, I am able to connect to the 2.4

ghz signal. After about 15 to 30 minutes, the signal would dissappear from

my phone again.

I tested this at my girlfriend's house too. Her router only has a 2.4 ghz

channel.

So the pattern is usually.

Notice wifi is connected

Restart phone

Wireless connects

Connection dies about 15 to 30 minutes later

Restart phone

Repeat
