How do I reset my frozen iPhone?

New iPhone 6s is frozen.

The screen is switching between the white screen with the black apple to a completely grey screen. I have tried powering down and cannot even get to the screen where it says "slide to power off". Also have tried resetting by pushing the home button and the sleep button simultaneously for 10 seconds, nothing.

Chell, When our phone stops working, it can feel like the world has stopped.  Please use steps provided in link. This will start the phone as new, so what has not been saved will be erased. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201252.
