My phone shuts off randomly and when it restarts, takes a long time saying it's loading apps? Very annonying.
What device? This sounds like an OS update did not go well.
It's a Moto X, the original one.
Either the OS update did not configure correctly (possibly an app runtime change incompatibility) or you have a few apps that are corrupted or running wild.
Crap. I cleared the cache on all the apps. I don't have that many. Would you suggest deleting and reinstalling? Thanks so much!
You might try a factory reset and DISABLE back up of apps and Google account data, and DISABLE auto restore.
