HTC One M8 randomally goes into dock mode/car mode. How do I fix this?

I updated my phone yesterday morning. Software Update HTC6525LVW_4.17.605.5_R4-3.28.605.9. Since the update completed, my phone will randomally enter into car mode/dock mode, and it will out of no where stop charging after 5 minutes or so. please help!

The charger repairs have landed. We want you to be able to charge your device without having issues. Are you using the original device charger? Do you use aa dock for your device?
