I am having a issue sending MMS to android phones while on a phone call.
I just tried it with a friend to see and I didn't have any trouble. I assume you have LTE Voice & Data on in settings and Advanced Calling active on your account...

So to kaebfly's point the key is to have the LTE Voice & data turned on. This way the device will have simultaneous voice and data and the MMS will go thru with no problem while on the phone. Did this resolve it for you? Just curious.
Yes it fixed the issue for me, not sure why that setting isn't automatically turn on.
