I tried to plug the new verizon modem into a different room, I put both the coax plug and ethernet cable in. It then made the globe symbol flash white and turn red but wouldn't work. How would I move rooms of my modem?

Is this regarding LTE Installed from Verizon Wireless, or Verizon FiOS? The above will apply to you if you use FiOS.
