i have had my update for 8 days and now some of the problems i have read about on this forum is starting to show up on my phone. i have had problems with speed dial since day one but as of friday & yesterday, the following:
- when i recv a phone call, the the ringer volume is lowering as it continues to ring to almost muted.
- when the phone is in standby mode, when i click the red/end button, the time showing on the locked screen is not updated until i slide it. don't like this b/c i use to like looking at the time w/out having to unlock the phone. this is intermitten.
- my screen timeout is not working properly. if i have it set for 30 secs, 1 min or 2 mins....it will stay on for just a few seconds then times out. this is intermitten.
- the internet is slower
- the alarm clock is working ok but if you hit snooze, it will only allow you to snooze twice then it's done.
- when transferring music via usb cord, have several options now. it was easier on the old update to just tap mount. not crazy about this new feature.
- on the Google home screen, the location will never update. it just keep saying 'location unavailable'.
- battery life is worse.
some have said a hard reset has helped with some issues. i was wondering for those who have done hard resets, how long has it been reset and is everything still working ok? i don't know how the hard reset works but do you take out your sd card b/c i don't want to lose all my music and photos. for any using the leaked version, are you having problems like everyone else or is it still going smooth? trying to figure out should i do a hard reset, put on the leaked version if i'm able to or wait to see if VZW or HTC is going to fix these problems. not sure if all these issues have been addressed on ths forum but if some help can be given, i would appreciate knowing. thanks.
