My HTC M8 battery died and when I plugged it in the white HTC screen showed for about a minute then it shut down 20 seconds later it started again and it just keeps doing it over and over again. Help

Let’s get your phone back on. I would be lost without my phone. Prior to your phone shutting off did you receive any indication of failure to the battery? Have you tried using a different charger to connect your device?

I had tried 4 different chargers and taking out the SIM card and the memory card. Eventually ( after 6 hours) it took finally powered on and stayed on. This has happened a few times before and the last time it never rectified itself and I had to get a new phone. It seems to happen anytime my battery goes dead.
