I am confused about the "pay as you go" and "prepaid". I had read that you could by a phone, choose a plan that only charges you when you need it, only I bought a phone that requires a $45 a month plan. There is no way I can afford spending $45.00 a month, and we will only use the phone or texting in an emergency. I was told if I don't put $45 into the account, and only put $15 it will go to charging so much per phone call or texts, but is that the same thing as pay as you go? Will I lose my phone number or service if I never put $45 in my account again?
So confused.
