My volume for ringtones, alarms and notifications are set to the max but I get nothing but silence. What can I do to troubleshoot this issue? Thanks for your prompt reply.
After a factory reset I think the sound is working again. I am going to
wait a couple of days and see what happens.
I have a droid turbo, if that helps with my question. I have searched everywhere and have yet to find the answer to troubleshooting the sound card/speaker.
Rcarr2006 We want everything on your phone to work properly for you. Typically, the sounds and alerts have to be compatible with the car's bluetooth system. Have you checked with your car's manufacture that the bluetooth device is fully compatible with the phone? Also is your car's bluetooth system up to date with the latest software from the manufacture?StevenG_VZWFollow us on Twitter @VZWSupportIf my response answered your question please click the Correct Answer button under my response. I don't drive. And the cars that I ride in do not typically have Bluetooth.
Plus my Bluetooth settings are turned off. Is there something else we could
try?

Also I get no sound at all. For example I ask about weather and I usually get a vocal response. Not today. I also had somebody try calling me and when I answered there was no voice. That was in a spot with good reception.
The volume in all my settings are set to the max.
Short of returning the phone what can I do?
Sound decided not to work today either.
Your efforts are greatly appreciated and I apologize for the inconvenience, let's get to the bottom of this! When did hte issue begin? Has your phone been exposed to any physical or water damage?
