Is contactless payment available at Verizon store?

Like Apple pay or Android pay? I keep reading conflicting reports across the web. Personally I saw in one store a terminal which says it supports Android Pay. When I asked about it the rep there seemed clueless. Also the payment kiosks have NFC reader. Do they actually work?

In general, Verizon is allergic to new technologies but NFC payment has been available for quite some time. I was to use this to use some Discover promotions.

Call and or go into a store and find out for yourself, or perhaps use your discover to earn points by buying prepaid debit cards to pay your bill with. Just a thought :')

Still want to know what Verizon's official stand is on this since there are conflicting reports online (many people were able to use it in many stores across the country). I am sure the stores can't independently decide this. Also, how many stores do you think I should call? :smileyhappy: (tried two). Also, buying debit card won't yield me the rewards I am aiming for.

Thank you so much for reaching out to us regarding these options. We certainly want to make sure we cover what is available in our stores. At this time the options available to make payments are, Cash, Debit/Credit cards, Gift cards, Personal checks, and Verizon Wireless Rebate Cards. At this time the store locations don't support Apple or Android pay when it comes to making payments.
