S4 to Note 3

I changed phones from an S4 to a Note 3, I had

4G LTE service all the time with my S4, but wanted a phone a bit newer.....in the past 2 weeks sense I switched phones I have had 4G LTE for 2 min literally, and have had 3G or nada the remainder of the time. My new phone is awesome, I love it, but my service sucks and I am debating on switching carriers, because I might as well have flip phone with the service I am getting. I'm asking anyone if they have experienced this and is there anything I can do or should I just cancel....my contract has been done for a while so that is not holding me back, plus my experience with Verizon people has been less than stellar, I've been treated like I'm just a number and they could care less if I switched carriers. We'd be sad if you were to ever leave team VZW, Ronigaiama. Let's help turn things around. Sorry to hear of the experience you are having with your Note 3. Did you buy your Note 3 new?

Do you still have your S4? They both utilize the same type of SIM card. Have you tried comparing the two to see if service still acts the same way, while the antennas are a bit different, they shouldn't differ too much. It may just be the device itself, or possibly some settings too.

Any covers on the Note 3? If yes, does reception change with them off?

IT may be a problem with the SIM card, or the phone.

You can get a free replacement SIM card from a Verizon corporate store.

IF that doesn't resolve the problem, then you have to consider the phone is faulty. Is it still under warranty?

The phone was my sisters and when she used it she never had a problem(she only used it for 3 or 4 months and then it was in the box for 3 months. My husband is using my S4 now with his Sim card and having no problem with service. I am using my Sim card that I had used with my S4. I got a cover a week ago and the service has been the same as it was with or without the cover. Should I go to a Verizon store, if yes what can expect from them?

I was thinking about replacing the Sim card also, it's my sisters phone and she didn't have any issues with it only used it for a few months and it sat for a few months because her work gave her a phone. .
